A blind concert. That is the best way for me to succinctly describe the PKP trip to the BBC Proms. Climbing the staircase with our large group, having queued our way into the Royal Albert Hall, I was not expecting what I would see next.
Sit down in the huge lecture theatre of the Engineering department for a lecture on cybersecurity and you might expect that it could be quite dry, perhaps feature confusing terminology and warnings that are only helpful if you know how to code. Kieran Lovell’s talk, ‘Why hack the machine when they can hack you?’ was none of these things. An energetic speaker, he gave a lecture that was as amusing as it was informative.
