Life on PKP is fast-paced. After this morning’s Module One exams, we’re ready to spend the evening celebrating! This is done in true Cambridge-style, with a party on punts, which would drop us off at the bop in town – bop being Cambridge-speak for a big party.
Pimms and wine provided.
Gondoliers were on hand to do the punting, although students were also eager to have a go, with amusing and multidirectional results.
The flotilla of punts proceeds down the Cam, towards the bank near the bop venue.
Masks for the bop later!
The bop itself took place at Hidden Rooms, an exclusive cocktail lounge in the city centre.
The Venetian Masquerade Bop turned out masks of all colours and shapes, from jesters to Phantoms, sourced from Cambridge costume shops or designed by the students themselves!!
Students relaxed with cocktails in one of the booth areas, or flaunted their moves on the adjoining club dancefloor.
With a long weekend before classes start again on Tuesday, a large number of students took the opportunity to travel around the UK or Europe. The Programme organised various trips, including a trip to London to see the Tower of London and the Globe Theatre.
