It’s not all work for PKP students; there are plenty of chances to relax and socialise. This summer our Programme Assistants (PAs) have organised a huge range of activities: there really is something for everyone.
If you’re into sport, we’ve had golf, squash, punting, canoeing, street dance, ballroom dance, yoga, zumba, baseball and more.
The artsy types among us have been to the BBC Proms, the Globe Theatre, watched numerous plays at the Shakespeare Festival, visited the local arts cinema and toured the Wren Library.
We’ve been paintballing, walked to Grantchester, watched fireworks and even learnt to mix cocktails. As we speak, the Harry Potter House Cup competition is underway and this weekend will see the ‘PKP’s Got Talent’ contest.
Many of our social activities seem to revolve around food! A firm favourite with our students is Formal Hall, where everyone is dressed up and looking their best. This fabulous selection of portraits from a King’s College Formal Hall drinks reception showcases our fabulous group of students from all around the world:
